Compact MD deck. Had two variations, black and silver. Supports auto-on with disc insert, Has the usual music sync recording, time machine, and smart space functions.
Seems to be mostly an export unit for the US / CA / AEP / UK / E / AUS markets. The service manual states it is identical to the MDS-40, except it has an “E1 core transformer.” and a few minor changes.
Shipped with RM-D30M remote.
Had support for the PCLK-MD1 and PCLK-MD2 PC Link Kits.
